Position Overview
We’re hiring a Computer Operator to support daily IT operations, troubleshoot Windows environments, and provide hands-on end user support. This role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and a natural IT aptitude who enjoys working independently and learning new technologies on the fly. You’ll play a key role in keeping systems, users, and operations running smoothly while delivering strong customer service across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and support Windows-based systems and applications.
- Maintain and manage Excel spreadsheets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide hardware and end user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Deliver strong customer service and communication when assisting internal users.
- Monitor daily IT operations and resolve issues proactively.
- Learn new systems and tools independently as needed.
- Work with minimal supervision while staying organized and reliable.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows troubleshooting and support.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data entry, formulas, reporting, organization).
- Background in hardware support and end user support.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to self-teach and work independently.
- Must be able to pass a credit check (no bankruptcies).
Nice to Have
- Experience with IBM iSeries / IBMi (AS400) environments.
