Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first internal IT hire, supporting a growing organization with a blend of desktop support and data analysis/reporting responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for end users, including:
- Setting up and configuring new workstations
- Troubleshooting hardware issues (monitors, desktops, peripherals)
- Adding, disabling, and managing user accounts
- Assist with data cleanup and organization, particularly when onboarding data from newly acquired assets or entities
- Support SQL databases and help extract, clean, and analyze data as needed
- Create and maintain ad hoc reports to support business operations and leadership decision-making
- Collaborate closely with leadership to help define and evolve IT and data processes as the business grows
- Work independently in a flexible environment, taking ownership of tasks and priorities
Requirements:
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on desktop support experience
- Experience with:
- User account management
- Workstation setup and hardware troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of SQL databases
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with or strong interest in data analysis and reporting
- Ability to clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
- Flexible, adaptable mindset with a desire to grow skills and responsibilities over time

- Experience supporting or working within the oil & gas industry
