About our client:
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established legal organization in San Antonio that is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Intake Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, organization, and supporting a fast-paced legal environment.
Job Description:
The Intake Assistant serves as the first point of contact for potential clients and plays a key role in gathering case information, coordinating communication, and supporting attorneys and legal staff. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial contact for prospective clients via phone, email, and online inquiries
- Collect and document important case details and client information during the intake process
- Conduct preliminary screening of potential cases based on firm criteria
- Enter and maintain accurate records in the firm’s case management system
- Schedule consultations and coordinate appointments with attorneys or legal staff
- Follow up with prospective clients regarding documentation, case details, or next steps
- Ensure all intake documentation is complete and organized for attorney review
- Maintain a professional, empathetic approach when communicating with individuals seeking legal assistance
Qualifications:
- 3 years of administrative, client intake, or customer service experience (legal experience preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or case management systems
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
