Job Description

Addison Group is hiring a Human Resources Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing organization. This role will serve as the onsite HR leader and primary point of contact for all people-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building HR infrastructure, supporting employees directly, and partnering closely with executive leadership in a hands-on environment.

This position is fully onsite and will support multiple nearby manufacturing locations as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, serving as the central resource for employees and leadership
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, onboarding processes, and employee lifecycle activities
  • Manage employee relations matters, performance discussions, and policy interpretation
  • Administer benefits communication and act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers
  • Create, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials
  • Develop and scale HR processes as the organization grows, including future team expansion
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal standards
  • Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated experience building or enhancing HR functions in smaller or growing organizations
  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices across recruiting, employee relations, and compliance
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work directly with employees at all levels
  • Proven stability in employment history with consistent tenure
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
