Job Description
Addison Group is hiring a Human Resources Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing organization. This role will serve as the onsite HR leader and primary point of contact for all people-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building HR infrastructure, supporting employees directly, and partnering closely with executive leadership in a hands-on environment.
This position is fully onsite and will support multiple nearby manufacturing locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, serving as the central resource for employees and leadership
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, onboarding processes, and employee lifecycle activities
- Manage employee relations matters, performance discussions, and policy interpretation
- Administer benefits communication and act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers
- Create, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials
- Develop and scale HR processes as the organization grows, including future team expansion
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal standards
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated experience building or enhancing HR functions in smaller or growing organizations
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practices across recruiting, employee relations, and compliance
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work directly with employees at all levels
- Proven stability in employment history with consistent tenure
- Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
