Job Description:
A growing logistics and distribution operation is seeking a Customer Service Agent to support daily warehouse and customer operations onsite at a large corporate campus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with people, and handling a mix of customer service, administrative, and logistics-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing customer orders and entering data into internal systems.
- Running and printing shipping documentation from the warehouse management system.
- Performing quality checks and ensuring shipping/receiving documentation accuracy.
- Supporting drivers at check-in windows and assisting with logistics coordination.
- Handling labeling, inventory paperwork, and order tracking.
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding shipments, inventory, and order status.
- Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure service expectations are met.
- Managing emails, phone calls, and general office support tasks.
- Assisting with reports, invoicing support, and discrepancy resolution.
- Greeting visitors and maintaining professional customer communication.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
- 1-2 years of logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.
- SAP or WMS experience preferred, but training can be provided.
- Strong data entry and administrative skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable working onsite in a warehouse/logistics environment.
