Job Description:

The Customer Service Specialist will serve as a key liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal departments. This role is heavily focused on email communication, order management, quoting, and supporting inside sales activities in a fast-paced environment. The position supports assigned sales accounts and ensures accurate, timely execution of customer orders from entry through fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Support 2–3 assigned Sales Representatives with account management needs
  • Process and manage 40–50 customer orders daily in NetSuite ERP
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes accurately and efficiently
  • Track orders, provide status updates, and manage changes or adjustments
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA, Purchasing, and Logistics teams
  • Resolve shipping, tracking, and fulfillment issues
  • Participate in customer and sales meetings for account setup and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using Google Workspace tools
  • Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, account coordination, or inside sales
  • Experience with order entry or ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills with heavy email management experience
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Additional Details:

This role functions as a central communication hub between customers and internal teams. Sales representatives remain actively involved and are typically copied on all communications. The environment is highly collaborative, with strong tenure across leadership and staff. Candidates must be comfortable in a lean, fast-moving setting where priorities can shift quickly.
