Overview
A Minneapolis‑based organization is seeking a Collections / Credit Analyst to support their AR, collections, and credit review processes. This individual will manage a portfolio of accounts, communicate with customers to resolve past‑due balances, review creditworthiness, and assist with reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer‑focused, and comfortable working with high‑volume AR activity.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily collections activity for assigned customer accounts
- Conduct outreach via phone and email to resolve payment delays
- Review and analyze credit applications, financial data, and payment trends
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, short pays, and disputes
- Maintain detailed notes and follow‑up actions in the ERP system
- Prepare aging reports and identify high‑risk accounts
- Support credit limit reviews and recommendations
- Partner with Sales, Billing, Customer Service, and AR teams
- Assist with month‑end reporting and special projects
Qualifications
- 2+ years of collections, credit analysis, or accounts receivable experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow‑through
