Job Description
Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced Bilingual HR Generalist to support a dynamic manufacturing operation. This individual will act as the primary HR resource on-site, providing guidance to employees and leadership while ensuring efficient HR processes and compliance in a fast-moving production setting.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in human resources, thrives in an operational environment, and is comfortable balancing employee support with business objectives. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main HR liaison for team members and supervisors, addressing workplace concerns and providing guidance on policies and procedures
- Lead and document internal investigations, offering recommendations and facilitating appropriate resolutions
- Oversee time and attendance processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and corrective action when needed
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment efforts, coordinate onboarding activities, and facilitate new hire orientation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations as well as internal policies
- Provide support in performance management initiatives, including coaching and progressive discipline
- Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, leave management (including FMLA and ADA), and preparation of HR-related reports
- Maintain organized and confidential employee files and HR documentation
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with manufacturing or production environment experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Solid understanding of employment laws and human resources best practices
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and workplace investigations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Professional HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
