About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing manufacturing organization, to hire a Warehouse Associate. This position supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement activities while ensuring accuracy throughout the logistics process.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting project teams with material coordination. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments from suppliers.
- Verify deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Enter inventory and shipment information into the ERP system.
- Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and project teams.
- Package and prepare outbound orders for shipment.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Track shipments and ensure materials reach the appropriate teams.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding returns, repairs, and shipment status.
- Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records.
Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Certified on a forklift.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse or manufacturing environment.
