This role plays a key part in driving recruitment strategy, building community partnerships, and ensuring a positive candidate experience across the organization.
Job Description:
The Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in fostering inclusive employment practices. The ideal candidate enjoys relationship building, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and manage job requisitions through the applicant tracking system.
- Create and post job openings across multiple channels, including Paycom.
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring managers through selection processes.
- Organize and participate in hiring events, community job fairs, and outreach efforts.
- Build relationships with local workforce programs, colleges, and community partners to expand candidate pipelines.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Promote inclusive recruitment practices in alignment with organizational goals and values.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience; nonprofit or government program experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Paycom and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse candidate populations.
- Proven success in full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (experience may substitute for degree).
