Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annual salary
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description
We’re seeking a Payroll Accountant to join a collaborative and high-performing payroll team within a stable and growing organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced payroll professional with strong technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle, biweekly payroll processing for a large, multi-state employee base.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal tax and labor regulations.
- Perform detailed reconciliations and prepare reports for Finance and HR teams.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to employee pay and deductions.
- Partner cross-functionally to support audits and ensure data accuracy.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within the payroll system.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros required).
- Proven experience managing payroll for high employee volumes (1,000+ employees).
- Experience with Paycom or similar systems (e.g., UKG, Kronos) preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to manual processes and evolving systems.
- Willingness to work extended hours on payroll processing days.
