Our client is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support, freeing up their attorneys to focus on winning cases. Job Description:
As a Legal Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the firm’s operations, supporting 3-4 attorneys with essential administrative tasks that keep cases on track. You’ll be responsible for eFiling legal documents in PA and NJ, maintaining schedules, coordinating travel, and ensuring all documents are correctly prepared and submitted on time. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your organizational skills will shine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seamlessly manage attorney schedules, appointments, and travel logistics
- Handle eFiling of legal documents in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts
- Maintain comprehensive filing systems—both digital and physical—for easy access
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and client communications
- Serve as the go-to person for document management, ensuring everything is in order before deadlines
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the defense or a legal environment
- Netdocs
- Expertise in PA and NJ court eFiling systems is essential
- Top-tier organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in a busy, deadline-driven environment
