We are looking to add an Accounting Clerk to our team to support core accounting functions and ongoing operational needs. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close and reporting processes, and partnering cross-functionally across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and management-level deliverables
- Own and administer biweekly payroll and benefits processes (ADP Run)
- Support Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing and vendor management
- Help design, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and accounting policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support audit, review, and select tax-related processes
- Assist with treasury functions, including banking activities and cash management
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support growth initiatives
- Support evaluation, implementation, and optimization of accounting and payroll systems (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage, Great Plains)
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
