Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Compensation: Pay: $140,000-$150,00 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end and year-end close activities related to lease accounting and fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with ASC 842 by managing lease recognition, measurement, and ongoing reporting requirements
- Supervise and support a team of five accounting professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Maintain accurate fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and periodic reconciliations
- Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Legal to ensure lease data is complete, accurate, and properly recorded
- Enhance and monitor internal controls while driving improvements in accounting processes
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and addressing auditor requests
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement system or process enhancements
- Ensure adherence to company policies and all relevant accounting standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
- 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience
- Strong expertise in lease accounting (ASC 842 required)
- Solid experience with fixed asset accounting and asset lifecycle management
- Proven experience managing and developing a team
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
