Position Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

Assignment type: Permanent hire

Compensation: $195,000 – $240,000 / Annually

Work Schedule: M-F 9-5

Job Description:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing financial guidance and supporting long-term business planning.
  • Oversee all core finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
  • Lead the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting efforts, while monitoring financial performance and presenting insights to leadership.
  • Manage monthly and year-end financial reporting, including variance analysis and communication of key financial trends.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, reporting, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining strong financial processes and operational safeguards.
  • Oversee the development and improvement of financial systems, policies, and procedures to support organizational effectiveness and scalability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to align financial planning with operational goals and business strategy.
  • Provide leadership for operational support functions, including oversight of technology-related business needs and infrastructure.
  • Present financial updates, planning recommendations, and key business insights to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative, hands-on, and solutions-oriented environment.
  • Seek candidates with significant senior-level finance leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of driving sound financial and operational decision-making.
