Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 AM-2 PM

Pay: $22-26/hour

Job Description

The Patient Service Coordinator will support front desk operations in a fast-paced surgical center environment. This role is responsible for creating a smooth patient experience from check-in through check-out while assisting with scheduling, payment collection, insurance verification, and patient chart preparation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple front office priorities throughout the day.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
  • Answer inbound calls, address patient questions, and transfer calls appropriately
  • Schedule appointments and support front desk communication
  • Collect copays, deductibles, and patient balances as needed
  • Call patients prior to visits to review or collect payment information
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Scan and upload patient documentation
  • Prepare and manage patient charts throughout the day
  • Review charts for accuracy and follow up on missing information
  • Support the front office team and jump in where needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent medical front office experience required
  • Experience with check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection is required
  • Experience collecting higher patient balances preferred
  • Primary care, specialty clinic, or surgical center experience preferred
