About Our Client:
Our client is a leading healthcare provider that operates a centralized scheduling hub for all their practice locations.
Job Description:
The Centralized Medical Scheduler will manage high-volume patient scheduling, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service. This role involves working directly with patients who may be anxious or stressed, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls to schedule patient appointments.
- Utilize the scheduling system to accurately input and update information.
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients regarding scheduling needs.
Qualifications:
- Prior medical scheduling or insurance knowledge (preferred).
- Call center experience in medical scheduling (ideal).
- Strong phone-based customer service skills.
