About the Company:
Our client is a well-established commercial real estate firm. They are seeking an experienced Interim Operations Manager to provide leadership and operational support during an executive transition. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys improving processes, keeping teams organized, and ensuring day-to-day business operations run efficiently.
Job Description:
Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced Interim Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations during a temporary leadership transition. This individual will serve as a key resource across the organization, working closely with executive leadership while managing administrative, financial, HR, and office operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments where attention to detail and strong follow-through are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office and business operations to ensure efficiency across the organization.
- Coordinate payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and other administrative functions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including IT, payroll, accounting, insurance, and building management.
- Oversee office facilities, supplies, equipment, and workplace operations.
- Support employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HR-related processes.
- Coordinate recruiting logistics and internship administration.
- Monitor operational projects, timelines, and recurring business deadlines.
- Create, maintain, and improve operational procedures and documentation.
- Organize leadership meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items.
- Assist with budgeting, financial administration, and operational spending.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal operational support across the business.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, office management, business operations, or a similar leadership role.
- Prior experience within commercial real estate or another professional services environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing vendors and coordinating business operations.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong financial and administrative skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership and handling confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional, resourceful, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
