Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations of a high-profile commercial property. This role combines financial oversight, tenant relations, and operational coordination to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard while delivering an exceptional tenant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support annual budgeting efforts and assist with ongoing financial forecasting and reporting
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions related to tenant billing and vendor payments
- Conduct routine property walkthroughs to ensure building conditions meet established standards
- Respond to tenant requests and service needs in a timely, professional manner
- Investigate and help resolve operational or tenant-related issues, coordinating appropriate solutions
- Assist with vendor management, including bid coordination, contract administration, and relationship oversight
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to maintain efficient property operations
- Contribute to the coordination of capital improvements and tenant improvement projects
- Deliver a high level of service to tenants and stakeholders, maintaining a professional presence at all times
Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of experience in property management or a related field
- Background in commercial property management preferred; multifamily experience considered for more senior titles
- Familiarity with financial processes such as budgeting, reporting, and account reconciliation
- Experience with lease administration and property management systems (Yardi or similar preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service in a professional environment
- Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, and property-related projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with high-profile tenants and stakeholders
