This opportunity is ideal for a highly organized legal professional with experience supporting commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative environment while handling sophisticated transactions and interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.


Job Description:

The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate transactions. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple active matters while ensuring deadlines and closing requirements are met.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, revise, and organize commercial real estate documents for attorney review and transaction completion.
  • Perform public records research, lien searches, and UCC searches to support due diligence efforts.
  • Coordinate title work by ordering and reviewing title commitments, surveys, and related documentation.
  • Prepare electronic filings, recording packages, and closing documents while ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Monitor transaction schedules, maintain calendars, and track critical closing deadlines.
  • Assist with commercial purchase and sale transactions from initial contract through final closing.
  • Support commercial leasing matters and affordable housing transactions as needed.
  • Communicate with attorneys, lenders, title companies, clients, and other parties to facilitate smooth transaction closings.
  • Manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and responsiveness.
  • Maintain electronic files and assist with document management throughout each transaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting commercial real estate transactions as a Paralegal.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate closing processes and transaction documentation.
  • Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and performing UCC searches.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to build positive working relationships with attorneys, clients, and external business partners.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable utilizing legal software and document management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or Paralegal Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of long-term employment and consistent, high-quality performance.
