Job Description:
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Recruiter to support hiring activities and assist with day-to-day HR functions. This role will work closely with candidates, hiring teams, and external recruiting partners to keep the hiring process organized and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial screening through onboarding. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and timely follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with external recruiting agencies to review candidate submissions and support hiring needs.
- Review resumes and assess applicants based on job requirements and hiring team feedback.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and interest.
- Maintain accurate candidate profiles, notes, and status updates within the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling between candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate interview details, hiring updates, and next steps to candidates.
- Assist with offer coordination and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and required documentation.
- Provide updates and guidance to new hires regarding onboarding steps and deadlines.
- Support HR team members with administrative tasks and employee-related processes.
- Assist with special projects and additional departmental needs as they arise.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.
- Help keep recruiting workflows organized through consistent follow-up and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or human resources.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and managing candidate information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruiting partners.
- Comfortable balancing multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
- Strong follow-up skills and a responsive, service-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Experience with agency recruiting, candidate screening, or onboarding is preferred.
