Our client is a growing organization within the warehouse, distribution, and operations space. They are seeking an experienced recruiting professional to partner closely with operational leadership and support hiring across multiple locations.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Contract Senior Operations Recruiter with 5+ years of recruiting experience within warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience recruiting for manager-level and above operational positions.
This individual will own the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of operational leadership roles while partnering closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs, develop talent pipelines, and deliver against staffing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned warehouse and operational teams across multiple locations.
- Recruit for mid-to-senior level operations positions, including Operations Managers, Production Supervisors, Safety Managers, Inventory Managers, Food Safety Managers, and Director-level operations roles.
- Manage approximately 20–30 open requisitions simultaneously while prioritizing business-critical hiring needs.
- Develop candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing, and relationship building.
- Assess candidates based on experience, qualifications, leadership capabilities, and alignment with operational requirements.
- Coordinate the offer process, including presenting offers and assisting with negotiations when needed.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide a positive recruiting experience.
- Act as a trusted recruiting advisor to Operations Managers and other warehouse leadership.
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, hiring priorities, and seasonal staffing needs.
- Provide updates regarding open positions, candidate pipelines, interview activity, and overall hiring progress.
- Track recruiting activity and performance through the organization's ATS.
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, interview activity, offer acceptance, and overall hiring results.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, and hiring efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the selection and hiring process.
- Ensure recruiting activities follow applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate the transition of accepted candidates to the appropriate recruiting operations or onboarding team for pre-employment screening and new hire processing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recruiting experience within warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or 3PL environments.
- At least 2-3 years of experience recruiting for manager-level or higher positions.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting operations and warehouse leadership talent.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and offer management skills.
- Ability to effectively partner with operations and business leadership.
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven recruiting environment.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
