Our client is seeking organized, detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support new hire orientation, onboarding, and recruiting activities. This individual will serve as the primary coordinator for new hire orientation, held approximately one to two times per week, and will work closely with the corporate HR team to ensure all hiring and onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate has a background in human resources, with an emphasis on recruiting, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual candidates are preferred. We are also open to candidates with exceptional recruiting or HR experience who demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- New Hire Orientation: Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation sessions approximately one to two times per week.
- Onboarding Administration: Assign, process, review, and error-check new hire onboarding paperwork in coordination with the corporate HR office to ensure accuracy and completion.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Coordinate and process pre-hire requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and related documentation.
- Recruiting Support: Provide administrative support throughout the recruiting process, ensuring candidate documentation and pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial candidate screening calls as needed, using established questions and guidelines to assess candidate qualifications and interest.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate professionally and effectively with candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and corporate HR to support a smooth hiring and onboarding experience.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate candidate and employee documentation while ensuring required paperwork is properly processed and organized.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Human resources experience, preferably with an emphasis on recruiting.
- Recruiting coordination, onboarding, or administrative HR experience strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with standard office software.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct errors in documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Professional, personable, and comfortable interacting with candidates and new hires.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
