Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join their team. This role supports internal compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, company policies, and operational procedures. Job Description:
The Compliance Coordinator will assist in maintaining and strengthening compliance programs across the organization. This individual will help monitor regulatory requirements, support audit processes, maintain documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to promote adherence to policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of compliance initiatives and internal policies
- Stay informed on regulatory updates and conduct research to support compliance decisions
- Prepare recurring reports for leadership, including weekly and monthly compliance updates
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal documentation
- Coordinate and deliver compliance-related training to internal teams
- Review and manage documentation within internal tracking systems, ensuring records are current and accurate
- Assist with audit processes by tracking compliance metrics and identifying gaps
- Address compliance concerns by recommending practical solutions to reduce risk
- Partner with leadership to monitor compliance performance and improve processes
- Maintain and update policies to align with regulatory requirements and company standards
- Train field-based staff on compliance expectations and procedures
- Support implementation and testing of new compliance tools and systems
- Travel up to 25% as needed
- Track performance metrics and provide coaching or guidance when targets are not met
- Provide recommendations to leadership regarding compliance risks and corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Compliance, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, administrative, or coordination roles
- Experience within regulated industries (such as logistics, healthcare, or finance) is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Additional Details:
- Working knowledge of compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and auditing practices
- Experience with tracking systems or compliance platforms (e.g., onboarding or document management tools) preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
