Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator to support a fast-paced accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented AR professional with strong experience in SAP, customer deductions, billing, and collections. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, can manage responsibilities independently, and consistently ensures accuracy across all AR functions.
This position plays a key role in maintaining healthy receivables, resolving customer account issues, and contributing to ongoing system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments (checks, ACH, and wires) accurately and efficiently.
- Manage billing, collections, and cash application activities within the ERP system.
- Research and resolve trade and non-trade deductions.
- Maintain AR aging reports and track deduction activities.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding account discrepancies or overdue balances.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing or payment-related issues.
- Prepare AR and deduction reports using Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with credit reviews, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in system upgrade projects and contribute recommendations based on AR needs.
- Take full ownership of assigned accounts and drive timely resolution of outstanding items.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- SAP experience required.
- Hands-on experience processing and resolving customer deductions required.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including report creation and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and customer interaction abilities.
- Independent, reliable, and able to manage a high volume of work autonomously.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work onsite Monday–Friday with no remote flexibility.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
- Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing is a plus.
- Business-related degree preferred.
