Job Description:
The Temporary Representative – Data Operations & Compliance will support high-volume data intake, review, and validation processes to ensure enrollment and student data files meet strict compliance and regulatory standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with structured data, and the ability to communicate directly with institutional clients to resolve file issues quickly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review incoming enrollment and compliance data files for errors, warnings, and inconsistencies prior to system entry
• Communicate with school and institutional partners to resolve data issues and ensure clean submissions
• Process and validate high-volume data within strict turnaround timelines
• Support gainful employment and other federally regulated reporting processes
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with Department of Education and regulatory standards
• Assist with client inquiries related to file submissions, corrections, and reporting requirements
• Document and track issues within internal systems (e.g., CRM/ticketing tools)
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve data workflows and system modernization efforts
• Provide customer support via phone and email in a professional, detail-oriented environment
Qualifications:
• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative support (internships included)
• Experience working in an office, customer-facing, or regulated environment preferred
• Ability to interpret instructions, compliance guidelines, and structured data requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel required)
• Experience with CRM or database tools preferred (e.g., Salesforce or similar systems)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered
Additional Details:
• Contract-to-hire opportunity after 6 months
• Remote-first with occasional onsite work in Herndon, VA (2+ times per month or as needed during training)
• Must reside within a commutable distance or approved state list
• Strict background check required (7-year criminal, education, and credit verification)
