What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Take ownership of the month-end close process and help ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Analyze general ledger activity, identify variances, and research discrepancies
- Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting and audit requests
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
- Recommend and support accounting process improvements and documentation initiatives
- Partner closely with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP&A teams to support daily accounting operations
- Assist with year-end close activities and external audit preparation
