Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Recruiter to support a high-volume hiring function during a leave coverage period. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers across multiple departments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can manage a variety of roles at once while creating a strong candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding preparation
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system with accurate candidate data
- Build and nurture a pipeline of active and passive applicants
- Conduct 30-day check-ins with new hires and attend new hire orientations
- Monitor background checks and ensure compliance throughout the hiring process
- Proctor literacy and skills assessments for candidates (on-site weekly)
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of new employee orientation
- Support job fair scheduling and participation
- Prepare weekly hiring/ vacancy reports
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
- Create and publish job postings across internal and external platforms
- Stay up-to-date on recruiting trends and participate in internal professional development
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to enhance sourcing strategies
- Assist with special projects or committee participation as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- High-volume recruiting background required
- Experience using applicant tracking systems; Paylocity strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and general database systems
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Previous nonprofit recruiting experience is a plus
Additional Details:
- Contract role covering a leave (approximately 3 months; potential extension or conversion)
