Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Start Date: ASAP (pending completion of onboarding requirements)

Position Overview:

A busy medical clinic is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily patient operations. This role is responsible for managing front office activities including patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and handling incoming calls.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a moderate to high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient check-in and check-out
  • Collect and process patient payments
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls
  • Verify insurance information and patient details
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the system
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
  • Support front office operations as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical front office or administrative role
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retina or ophthalmology
  • Experience with AdvancedMD or similar EMR systems

Work Environment:

  • Fully onsite role in a medical clinic
  • Team-oriented environment with hands-on training
  • Scrubs required
