Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled individual to play a vital role in supporting our attorneys in all phases of litigation matters. While fluency in Spanish is preferred, the ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on various issues related to assigned cases.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness interviews, document organization, and evidence management.
  • Manage case files and documents, ensuring accurate and efficient organization.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  • Assist with legal calendaring and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by attorneys and legal team members.


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred, with the ability to translate legal documents and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
