Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 annually

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team supporting retail store operations across North America. This role offers excellent exposure to cross-functional business operations, including Retail, Ecommerce, Planning, Real Estate, and Corporate Finance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their FP&A and operational finance experience while partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for store operations and related business functions
- Maintain and enhance financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Analyze store performance, operating expenses, payroll, occupancy costs, utilities, and sales trends
- Assist with monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management using Excel and business intelligence tools
- Partner cross-functionally with Retail Operations, Ecommerce, Real Estate, and other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Support sales forecasting, expense tracking, and corporate metric reporting
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, data validation, and special projects as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, or corporate finance
- Experience maintaining financial models and supporting budgeting/forecasting processes
- Exposure to P&L analysis, sales forecasting, and variance reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred
- Ability to manage large data sets and present findings clearly and effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail, consumer products, or multi-location business experience
- Experience with consolidations or management reporting
- Experience presenting financial information to leadership teams
