Compensation: $36.00 - $43.27 / Per Hour dependent on applicable experience

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description:

We are working with an established organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to oversee day‑to‑day AP operations, ensure timely and accurate processing, and support continuous improvement within the AP function. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, process‑driven, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment. The AP Lead will act as a subject‑matter expert for AP processes, tools, and workflow, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices
  • Review, approve, and reconcile vendor invoices
  • Monitor aging, payment schedules, and outstanding items
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies or invoice issues
  • Support month‑end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and system utilization
  • Collaborate with procurement, accounting, and departmental leaders to streamline workflows

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior-level capacity
  • Hands‑on experience with Ariba, Coupa, or a similar procure‑to‑pay system (required)
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice workflows, and vendor management
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
