Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to support a high-volume accounting department in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of accounts payable rather than focusing on a single invoice type.
The successful candidate will process purchase order (PO) and non-purchase order (Non-PO) invoices, support freight invoice processing, and assist with international invoice transactions. The position requires strong SAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, and the ability to maintain accuracy while working within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of PO and Non-PO invoices while meeting established productivity and accuracy expectations.
- Review freight invoices and other time-sensitive transactions to ensure they are handled within required payment terms.
- Enter foreign invoice information into SAP and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the completion of payment processing.
- Validate invoice information, supporting documents, account coding, and required approvals before payment.
- Match invoices against purchase orders and related receiving documentation as appropriate.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, to review, organize, and process complex or multi-page invoices.
- Monitor assigned invoice queues, prioritize work based on due dates, and meet daily and weekly processing targets.
- Research payment discrepancies, resolve invoice issues, and assist with vendor account reconciliations.
- Maintain complete and accurate transaction records in accordance with accounting procedures.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to obtain missing documentation and resolve invoice-related questions.
- Assist with month-end close activities, audit requests, and other accounts payable assignments.
- Work collaboratively with other accounting teams to support changing workloads and departmental priorities.
- Participate in cross-training to develop knowledge of additional accounts payable functions as business needs allow.
Qualifications:
- Previous accounts payable experience, preferably involving full-cycle invoice processing.
- Required experience using SAP in an accounts payable or accounting environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with VLOOKUP proficiency required.
- Experience processing both PO and Non-PO invoices.
- International or foreign invoice processing experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with freight invoices, invoice matching, and payment terms is beneficial.
- Ability to process a large volume of invoices while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
