Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Location: Greater Minneapolis, MN area (hybrid role; local candidates only)
Pay Rate: $25 - $29/Hour dependent on applicable experience

Overview:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Perform invoice matching and verify supporting documentation
Review invoices for proper coding and approvals
Assist with vendor setup and maintenance, including collecting required documentation
Respond to vendor inquiries and help resolve payment discrepancies
Support weekly payment processing including ACH, checks, and wires
Assist with AP aging reviews and other support tasks as needed
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Generate customer invoices and assist with billing activities
Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account records
Monitor aging reports and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances
Research and resolve billing discrepancies as needed
Support customer communication related to invoices and account questions
General Accounting & Administrative Support
Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation
Assist with data entry and updating financial records within the system
Support the accounting team with routine administrative and clerical tasks
Prepare and organize documents for reporting and internal review
Communicate with internal departments to help ensure accurate processing of invoices and payments
Assist with additional accounting and office projects as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of accounting or accounting support experience
Experience with AP, AR, and basic accounting support tasks preferred
Comfort working within ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
