About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing organization within the telecommunications space, to hire a Regional Business Development Manager. This company specializes in wireless infrastructure development and offers strong long-term growth opportunities for professionals looking to expand their expertise in sales, leasing, and telecom operations. Job Description:
The Regional Business Development Manager will focus on generating new business opportunities, expanding client partnerships, and supporting telecom infrastructure growth initiatives throughout an assigned territory. This role requires a proactive sales professional who is comfortable developing new accounts, re-engaging inactive customers, and identifying opportunities related to wireless site development and leasing.
This position works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support lease negotiations, site acquisition efforts, and customer relationship management initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and experienced in telecommunications or infrastructure-related business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to expand revenue opportunities
- Generate new business through prospecting activities including cold outreach, networking, and account development
- Reconnect with inactive or former clients to uncover additional revenue opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with telecom partners, vendors, and customers
- Identify potential wireless infrastructure and tower development opportunities within target markets
- Assist with lease negotiations, amendments, and telecommunications site acquisition activities
- Coordinate project-related documentation including surveys, reports, construction plans, and lease packages
- Maintain accurate project and client records within internal databases and tracking systems
- Collaborate with internal departments and third-party vendors to support project execution timelines
- Participate in industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to increase market visibility
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify strategic business opportunities
- Support reporting efforts related to project statuses, pipeline activity, and revenue tracking
- Travel within the assigned region as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the telecommunications industry
- Prior experience in business development, outside sales, or account management
- Demonstrated success growing revenue and developing new client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Additional Details:
- Direct hire opportunity
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 remote day per week
- Office schedule flexibility available; standard hours are approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mondays and Fridays required onsite
