Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Costpoint Consultant to lead ERP implementation projects and provide strategic consulting to clients. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, leveraging deep expertise in Deltek Costpoint, accounting processes, and project management to deliver successful solutions.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong leadership skills who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys mentoring team members while managing complex implementation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including planning, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Analyze client business processes and recommend system improvements and best practices.
- Configure and optimize Deltek Costpoint environments to meet client requirements.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and system documentation to support business operations.
- Ensure implementation activities comply with established accounting standards and internal controls.
- Provide project updates, status reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout implementation engagements.
- Mentor junior consultants by providing technical guidance, training, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate across functional teams to resolve system issues and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and recommend additional solutions where appropriate.
- Travel to client sites as needed to support project implementations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 6+ years of ERP implementation experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Deltek Costpoint implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience leading implementation projects and mentoring team members.
- Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40% as project needs require.
