Location: The Woodlands, TX
Assignment Type: Direct Hire (Permanent)
Salary: $70,000 base plus 4% commission on all install projects (first-year sales goal $750K to $1M)
Work Schedule: Full-time, with occasional evening or weekend networking events
On-Site or Hybrid: Office-based with regular local travel to client sites and industry events

An Addison Group client is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer!
This is a true hunter role focused on driving new business growth for small-scale landscape construction and installation projects. You will own the full sales cycle: prospecting, building a pipeline, developing proposals, and closing contracts, while building long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and commercial owners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation project opportunities
- Develop customized proposals and sales presentations tied to client needs
- Negotiate and close contracts in line with company pricing and profitability standards
- Build long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers
- Serve as primary contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth handoff to operations
- Conduct regular follow-ups to drive satisfaction, upsell, and retention
- Stay informed on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends
- Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements
- Partner with estimating, operations, and project management on accurate proposals and delivery
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the CRM
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of proven B2B sales success, preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management, or related recurring-service industries
- Demonstrated track record of self-generated new business, not inherited accounts
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices a plus
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to sell on service and value and protect margins
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
