Job Responsibilities:
- Support IV&V vendor acquisition, specifying work scopes, and reviewing deliverables.
- Update and maintain IV&V plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
- Review digital I&C system requirements, statements of work, and vendor deliverables.
- Conduct criticality analyses for SIL-level software and support risk mitigation activities.
- Interface with development teams and vendors to resolve anomalies and test incidents.
- Contribute to compliance monitoring, reporting, and other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in safety-related I&C and IV&V, preferably in nuclear or power industries.
- Expertise in IEEE Std 1012-2004 (and revisions), safety I&C, and V&V methodologies.
- Solid technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
