Our client is a leading healthcare organization focused on delivering accurate and timely insurance verification and revenue cycle management. They are seeking a strong leader or highly skilled individual contributor to join their remote team and help streamline processes during a transitional period.
Job Description:
This role involves supervising or performing insurance verification tasks, including intake, eligibility, and authorization processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee or execute insurance verification processes for patient/client information.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and payer guidelines.
- Manage backlog and improve operational workflows.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Manager and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Navigate PAYOR vs IPA structures and understand Division of Financial Responsibility (DOFR).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in insurance verification within healthcare.
- Strong understanding of California insurance requirements.
- Ability to navigate PAYOR vs IPA relationships.
- Familiarity with DOFR concepts
- Experience with NextGen system is a plus but not required.
