About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with an established organization in the New Hampshire area that is looking to add an experienced HR professional to its team. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative HR function and work closely with employees and managers across the organization.
Job Description:
The HR Generalist will support a broad range of day-to-day human resources functions, with a strong focus on recruiting, employee support, benefits administration, HR systems, and ongoing HR programs. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of HR and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruiting process from job postings and candidate sourcing through interviews, offers, pre-employment steps, and onboarding.
- Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying events, annual enrollment, and employee questions.
- Coordinate leave-related processes and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Maintain employee information and process HR transactions within the organization’s HRIS.
- Assist with annual HR initiatives including performance management, compensation processes, employee surveys, and goal setting.
- Support HR compliance, audits, reporting, records, and documentation.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, programs, benefits, and general processes.
- Partner with the HR team on special projects and process improvements as needed.
- Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Generalist role.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience supporting multiple areas of HR, including benefits, HRIS, compliance, and employee programs.
- Experience working with an HRIS and applicant tracking system.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
