Our client, a local HVAC looking to for Collections/ AR specialist with high volume experience on a Contract-Hire basis. Great working environment/ culture.
Requirements
· 2 + years of full cycle Collections & AR experience (NON MEDICAL)
· Experience managing collections on approximately 210–250 accounts per month with little day-to-day oversight.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
· Experience with ERP systems and Excel
Responsibilities
· Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes
· Additionally, they will support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards
· Manage a high-volume AR portfolio of approximately 210–250 accounts on a monthly basis
· Execute full-cycle collections activities including outreach via phone, email, and electronic platforms
· Drive timely payment of outstanding invoices while maintaining positive client relationships
· Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and delinquency
· Resolve billing discrepancies and partner with internal teams to address payment issues
· Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity within system
· Reduce DSO and improve overall cash flow performance
· Handle escalations and negotiate payment plans when necessary
· Operate independently with limited day-to-day oversight while meeting performance targets
