We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Twin Cities that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy, high-volume accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in full-cycle AP, enjoys working in a structured PO environment, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing in a high-volume, PO-driven environment
- Performing 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Coding invoices to the general ledger and ensuring proper approvals
- Preparing and supporting weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Maintaining accurate AP records and supporting month-end close activities
- Partnering with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong experience with 3-way matching and purchase order workflows
- Experience working in JDE (JD Edwards) strongly preferred
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
