A well-established, ISO-certified U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in engineered industrial products is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The organization supports critical infrastructure across refining, petrochemical, power, and industrial sectors, delivering products essential to construction, maintenance, and turnaround operations worldwide.
This is a high-impact role reporting to the Director of Operations, responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory optimization, and alignment with production and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily supply chain operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics
- Develop and execute supply plans based on demand forecasts and production schedules
- Optimize inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, turnover, and adherence to FIFO practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, production, and purchasing to ensure seamless execution
- Manage relationships with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners to drive cost and service efficiency
- Oversee domestic and international shipping compliance and documentation
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and problem-solving
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing, logistics, and inventory management
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members while fostering accountability and collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in inventory control, production planning, and logistics
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage suppliers and freight carriers
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment
