Our client, a well-known and reputable non-profit is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their
team. They are looking for someone who can start immediately and has experience in a non-profit environment! This is an exciting long-term consulting opportunity for a mission driven organization with potential to convert in the future.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· 3-5 years of experience with full cycle accounting
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Must have experience updating service agreements/contracts
Responsibilities
· Collaborate on month-end close activities, including reconciliations, analysis, and responding to audit requests.
· Manage daily accounts receivables transactions.
· Handle customer credit card processing and cash application.
· Conduct multi-state sales tax reviews and manage related returns.
· Enter journal entries and undertake additional duties as assigned.
· Contribute to year-end reporting processes.
