Due to continued organizational growth and increasing transaction volume, the Accounting team is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and technical accounting activities.

What You'll Do
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Play a key role in the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support financial reporting activities and assist with the preparation and analysis of account balances and financial results.
- Research and apply accounting guidance related to revenue recognition and lease accounting, including exposure to ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized supporting documentation for accounting transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist with audit requests and collaborate with internal and external auditors.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support accounting operations and process improvements.
- Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close.
- Exposure to or knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and/or ASC 842 lease accounting.
- Advanced or strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative, service-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.
- Public accounting and/or audit experience.
- Experience working with nonprofit or public-benefit organizations.
- Experience supporting international or globally distributed operations.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion and/or Concur.
