About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to identify a strategic Human Resources Business Partner. This role supports designated business units by aligning people strategies with organizational goals through strong HR expertise and data-driven insights.

Job Description:

The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, blending traditional HR partnership with advanced workforce analytics. This role focuses on optimizing talent strategies, ensuring compliance, and using data to support informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into effective people strategies
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and DEI initiatives
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends related to turnover, engagement, hiring, and compensation
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Conduct workforce forecasting and evaluate the impact of HR programs and initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for HR metrics, KPIs, and operational performance insights
  • Support leaders in strengthening engagement, morale, and employee retention
  • Oversee Leave of Absence processes, including short-term and long-term disability
  • Manage HR operations within an HRIS, including onboarding, talent management, position tracking, and unemployment processes
  • Participate in cross-functional projects focused on scalability, analytics, and process improvement
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state employment regulations (FMLA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, etc.)
  • Investigate employee concerns and support resolution of workplace issues
  • Provide employee support related to benefits, compensation, payroll, and leave programs
  • Promote accountability, fairness, and consistent HR practices across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; Master’s preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to workforce analytics
  • HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Broad knowledge of HR functions including compliance, compensation, and performance management
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (PAYCOM preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus
