Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and general HR operations.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting efforts, ideally within aviation, aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, technical, or another highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance practices, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS platforms such as ADP, Paylocity, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring an HR Generalist on behalf of our client in the aviation industry. This role will support daily HR operations while partnering with employees, managers, and leadership to ensure a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and HR systems.


This position will play an important role in supporting company policies, improving HR processes, and helping maintain an engaged and productive workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR processes, policies, and workplace matters.
  • Support recruiting efforts from sourcing through onboarding, including identifying and evaluating qualified candidates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, internal changes, promotions, and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and provide support regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate payroll processes, timekeeping, and employee information updates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS systems.
  • Support benefits administration, leave coordination, and other HR programs.
  • Partner with leadership and HR teams on performance management, engagement initiatives, and company-wide HR programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within HR operations.
