Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization in the industrial and material handling space that is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its team. This company is focused on continued expansion and offers the opportunity to support employees across multiple locations while helping drive employee engagement and company culture initiatives.


Job Description:

The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership across multiple regions, supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and HR programs. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, have experience supporting California employees, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role requires occasional travel to regional offices throughout the year.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including California labor laws
  • Assist with employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution efforts
  • Coordinate and support recruiting, onboarding, and new hire integration processes across multiple locations
  • Help administer performance management initiatives, employee engagement efforts, and training programs
  • Maintain accurate employee information and documentation within the HRIS platform
  • Provide support related to benefits administration, leave management, and workers’ compensation processes
  • Partner with leadership to support a positive and collaborative workplace culture during company growth and acquisitions

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist or related human resources experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Experience supporting multi-state employees, including California-based teams
  • Prior experience using Paylocity or similar HRIS systems
  • Background within industrial, construction, manufacturing, transportation, mining, or related industries preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with changing priorities
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be eligible to travel domestically, including air travel and rental car use

Additional Details:

  • Contract to hire
  • Standard schedule is Monday-Friday with flexibility as needed
  • Bonus eligible position with annual incentive opportunity
  • Travel required approximately 5-6 times annually for regional office visits and company meetings
