About Our Client:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well established home services organization supporting residential customers across the DMV area. Our client is known for delivering dependable service through a team oriented environment that values accountability, performance metrics, and a positive customer experience.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail oriented Home Service Dispatcher  to coordinate service technicians and ensure efficient daily operations. This individual will act as a central point of communication between customers and field staff, helping to manage scheduling, routing, and service updates in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily schedules and assign service technicians to residential job sites
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and urgency
  • Track technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to service appointments and availability
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding appointment windows and service status
  • Partner with internal teams to support smooth workflow and strong customer satisfaction
  • Ensure follow up tasks are completed and service requests are properly closed out

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 to 4 years of administrative, dispatching, or scheduling experience
  • Prior experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related home services industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling platforms such as ServiceTitan or similar software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Clear communicator who remains composed in high pressure situations
  • Team oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving

Reports To: VP of People Operations

Team Size Supported: 6 to 8 technicians

Interview Process: Initial phone screen followed by onsite team interview

Overtime: Based on business needs and supervisor approval

Conversion Salary: $50,000 to $55,000 annually
