Addison Group is proud to support a leading construction company in Saint Louis Park in their search for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. They are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience in managing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping within the construction industry.
Role Overview:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, financial reporting, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction accounting principles and be proficient in accounting software.
Responsibilities:
· Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
· Processing vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and employee expenses
· Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations
· Preparing and processing payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations
· Generating financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
· Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash forecasts
· Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
· Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements
· Collaborating with project managers and executives to provide financial insights and analysis
· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably within the construction industry
· Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
· Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, including job costing and WIP schedules
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location and Compensation:
This is an on-site role located in Saint Louis Park, MN, offering competitive compensation up to $70,0000 annually commensurate with relevant experience.
